HipCat Printery

is a fully equipped studio for relief printmaking, letterpress printing & artist book production. It is an oasis in a cultural wasteland. 

We have an improving capacity for etching, mezzotint and screen printing. Printmaking is the core of what we do but we do so much more to foster creative projects and practices.

Our strategy is to encourage artists with diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds and facilitate project based creativity that has aesthetic merit and polemic engagement.

Our workshops are designed to facilitate autonomous artistic practices that support you to create what you envision. HipCat is a supportive environment in which to learn, edition, investigate - from conception to creation.
